Doodle of a Mohawk Lady

I'm entering my mohawk years
Suddenly, with two-thirds less dignity
And hair.

I'll want something to warm my ears,
Sadly, this coiffure can't be confined by
Headwear.

I'm hepper now than all my peers.
Truly, the clippers just revealed what was
Always there.

And here is a reading of the above poem by the beautiful, illustrious April Estrada, who is an actual, for real poet.
